Francis Kurkdjian's eclecticism and curiosity for others mutually nourish each other. Each encounter, be it with an artist, artisan, musician, choreographer, writer or emblematic venue, has its own sincere and fragrant emotion.

The best childhood memories are often the most delicious, too. Francis Kurkdjian and Anne-Sophie Pic combined their expertise to capture the enchanting scents and flavors of the holidays. From slightly sour recipes to honeyed flavors and notes of star anise, discover their creation.

The Roman luxury house FENDI and Maison Francis Kurkdjian combined their know-how and avant-garde spirit to create an exclusive collection of scented Baguette and Nano Baguette bags using the Maison patented technique.

The memory of a well-worn dollar bill is the starting point: the smell of linen-fibre paper, the animal scent of the ink, the dirt from constant handling.

For his second collaboration with lille3000, Francis Kurkdjian drew inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci, whose artistic presence marked Milan. He dreamed up a fragrant sfumato visible from the Palazzo delle Stelline's main entrance.

Lille3000 asked Francis Kurkdjian to join the group of artists presented at Shanghai's Expo Off. At the Lille Europe Pavilion, located at a Taoist temple in the heart of Shanghai, Francis Kurkdjian chose to release bubbles scented with violet, symbolic of a certain French charm.

In September 2006, the opening of Marie-Antoinette's estate to the public was an opportunity for the Château de Versailles to raise funds through the sale of the queen's perfume. Francis Kurkdjian concocted the fragrance based on authentic historical documents.

The second fragrance of the collection FENDIFRENESIA is a floral and cheerful eau de parfum that perfectly merges with the rose hue of the line, which includes a Regular Baguette bag, a Nano Baguette bag and a new card case.

This olfactory installation enhanced with music and light was set up in the Grove of the Three Fountains during the 2007 and 2008 Grandes Eaux Nocturnes in Versailles.

This blend of strawberry, banana and orange blossom sorbets is the fruit of a collaboration between Christophe Michalak (pastry chef at the Plaza Athénée Hotel in Paris and 2005 World Pastry Champion) and Francis Kurkdjian.

A fragrance created for the centennial commemoration of the Entente Cordiale, held at the Palais Garnier opera house in Paris in September 2004.

In collaboration with Albert Schrurs, the founder of Allegory Studio. This project presented flower-like fans of the invented variety dubbed "Flora Tournicota" featuring white petals and golden stems. 

Since a couple of years, Maison Francis Kurkdjian is promoting the experimental work of young Swiss-Canadian photographer and artist Christelle Boulé.

The smell of blood. When perfume is raised to the status of Art, emotion is all that matters. This collaboration with Syrian artist Hratch Arbach for his work entitled Mawtini, invites perfume to become a part of the dark and dire events of 2014.

Accompanying visitors as they climb the stairs to a Hall of Mirrors suggested by a giant looking glass, the scent of roses adds a poetic, sensory dimension to the retrospective exhibition on the painter Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun.

In a dual tribute to the stunning venue and to childhood, 800 two-wick candles, as expressive as eyes, were specially created for this event and arranged in a dreamy geometric pattern.

A deliciously perfumed performance took place to mark the 6th European Night of Museums under the glass dome of the Grand Palais. 

A collaboration with French artist Sylvain Le Guen to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Francis Kurkdjian's bespoke perfume workshop. 

Summer 2008. A giant trompe l'oeil representing a theatre curtain marked the entrance to another world.
